May 2013 – April 2014
LunaMetrics is excited to cohost an introductory SEO webinar for small nonprofits with HandsOn Tech Pittsburgh, an organization that connects volunteers to causes and promotes the adoption of nonprofit tech. The goal is not to provide attendees with a complete understanding of SEO. Instead, we will show several things that every website should do (and can do easily) to improve discoverability online. We will review the most basic fundamentals of SEO: keyword research and keyword placement.
Keyword research is the practice of understanding the ways that people search for information on the Internet. We will identify several free tools, offer instruction on how to use them and review common mistakes.
Keyword placement is the act of implementing keyword research. There is one place that EVERY website must include keywords but very few do. We will show you where and help you make the most of the space.
For more information about the webinar on May 29th at 1PM EST, please register here or visit the LunaMetrics website.

Learn. Discuss. Innovate.
Steel City Solutions is a one-day conference designed to encourage appropriate technology in Pittsburgh’s nonprofit communities.
Local nonprofits will hear from and be heard by some of Pittsburgh’s prominent business representatives, entrepreneurial minds, and community leaders.
Hosted on Penn Ave in Garfield, this conference will contain three topical tracks, as well as a keynote panel featuring a diverse group of the nonprofit world’s best and brightest. Within the tracks of Organizational Management, Marketing & Branding, and Sustainable Technology, we will learn and discuss a variety of innovative technologies and techniques to assist your nonprofit in reaching the next level.
In keeping with its innovative nature, the Steel City Solutions conference will not charge a fee for attendance. Breakfast and appetizers for our post-conference networking event will be provided, and for lunch there are a number of restaurants surrounding the conference space. In addition, all speakers come from HandsOn Tech and Pittsburgh Cares’ pool of Skills-Based Volunteers and will be donating their time to the conference. However, to cover facilities and expenses, we ask that each attendee consider donating a recommended amount of $30.00.
