Craig Grella

Skills-Based Volunteer Craig Grella, of OrgSpring, helps with nonprofit training at Google

Nonprofits sometimes find themselves adrift in a sea of paperwork, using out-of-date software, or operating well below their efficiency potential. With your help, we can bring these nonprofits up to speed! It can be hard for a nonprofit to figure out what they need on their own, and that’s where we come in. As part of Pittsburgh Cares’ Skills Based Volunteer program, we look for volunteers to help local nonprofits with a number of technology issues that they might otherwise not be able to resolve. Some of these projects include:

  • WordPress and general website design
  • Graphics design for nonprofit logos or print material
  • Database development, Microsoft Access, or Salesforce implementation
  • Google Apps implementation, migration, and nonprofit staff training
  • Social media and marketing implementation, training, and tools
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM
  • General IT support
  • Windows and Mac OS hardware and software support
  • Other software

If you have any of these skills and want to put them to use with Pittsburgh nonprofits, sign up for a volunteer opportunity here! You never know how helpful your services can be.
